Long weekends in Tunisia, 2027
Tunisia has 5 breaks of three consecutive non-working days or more in 2027, each one created by a public holiday rather than by the weekend alone.
Every break, longest first
| From | To | Days | Holiday behind it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fri, 1 Jan | Sun, 3 Jan | 3 | New Year's Day |
| Fri, 9 Apr | Sun, 11 Apr | 3 | Martyrs' Day |
| Fri, 13 Aug | Sun, 15 Aug | 3 | Women's Day |
| Fri, 15 Oct | Sun, 17 Oct | 3 | Evacuation Day |
| Fri, 17 Dec | Sun, 19 Dec | 3 | Revolution Day |
Bridge days
No public holiday in 2027 leaves a single working day stranded next to a weekend, so there is no cheap bridge available this year. Holidays that fall mid week, or that fall on a Monday or Friday and extend the weekend directly, do not create one.
How these are worked out
Every day of 2027 is classified as working or non-working using Tunisia's own weekend pattern and its nationwide public holidays. Consecutive non-working days are then grouped into runs, and any run of three days or more that contains at least one public holiday is listed above. Runs made of a weekend alone are excluded, since a two day weekend is not a long weekend.
Regional holidays are not included. In countries where regions set their own dates, the real picture locally can be better than the one shown here, sometimes considerably.
